Toronto-headquartered cosmetic manufacturer, Cosmetica Laboratories, has opened a brand-new Innovation Hub in California with the aim to better serve West Coast clients and indie brands.
Located in Woodland Hills, the new innovation hub officially opened on September 23rd. It will focus on Cosmetica’s hero product categories such as skincare, powders, slurries, lip products, and emulsions with mascara and foundation as two of their most requested categories.
“By opening our first international innovation hub, we are offering our clients a more convenient way to work together. We are equally excited about the opportunity to reach out to and collaborate with all of the emerging indie beauty brands from the greater Los Angeles area. Cosmetica is deeply committed to driving innovation and best-in-class service to the beauty community,” said Linda Kuga Pikulin, President of Cosmetica.
Cosmetica is investing in new top-of-the-line technology for the LA hub, and have hired senior chemists to further accelerate their innovation platforms to meet the needs of their global client base. Also, based on market research and client requests, Cosmetica is engaged in developing clean formulas and exploring raw material breakthroughs.
“Cosmetica has always prided itself on our innovation, swift execution, and unparalleled customer service,” said Kathie Elliot, VP of Sales, Marketing, and Product Development. “Our international expansion will offer additional services such as more flexibility in sampling and smaller batch orders with even faster turnaround times. The LA hub allows us to be a full value partner by offering agility, quality, and innovation to ensure client success.”
