Aïna Queiroz

Innovation and Scientific Communication

Biologist by training and passionate explorer, Aïna Queiroz took her first steps in fundamental plant research at CNRS. She was then Head of Research and Scientific Innovation for 10 years to develop natural ingredients for cosmetics.

Inspired by biodiversity (bacteria, plants, animals), she progressively specialized in biomimicry and ethnobotany through the National Museum of Natural History in Paris.

Each year, she delivers dozens of lectures, writes books, and teaches in different universities. In 2020, she created France’s first podcast on biomimicry: Bioinspi.
